For the second part of our The A-Z of Stylish Christmas Gift guide, we present gift ideas that start from I to Q — from an iconic bag such as the Fendi Baguette to quirky accessories like an oversized acetate sunglasses from Loewe. Happy shopping in the Yuletide season!
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Baguette this year, Fendi teamed up with luminaries — from Sarah Jessica Parker to Marc Jacobs — to create collaborative editions of the rectangular bag. One of the most interesting partnerships, however, has been with Japanese luggage brand Porter. Using its signature durable nylon and updating the Baguette so it can be worn around the waist or slung across the body, Porter has put a fresh and utilitarian spin on a classic.
Fendi x Porter bag, $4,450

Here’s a sweet suggestion for travel buffs who enjoy journalling lengthy reflections on their trips. Louis Vuitton’s Holiday collection includes several notebook covers in Monogram coated canvas, that show its house character, Vivienne, visiting its boutiques in various cities. Here, the loveable creature is seen cycling to the brand’s flagship in Paris.
Notebook cover, $915
Whether used to hold a bunch of keys or to jazz up a bag, keychains are fun and useful additions to an accessory collection. We like this Prada robot keychain, which combines toolish- looking metal components with a body of Saffiano leather and an enamelled triangle logo.
Keychain, $760
We all know people who enjoy eating their packed lunches at their desks every day. Zhuzh up their midday meal with this minimalist lunch box by Balenciaga. Created with Swiss design studio Panter & Tourron, it is made primarily of stainless steel and silicone, and comes with cutlery.
Lunch box, $1,040
We all know the Meisterstück as Montblanc’s signature pen, but that writing instrument also serves as the inspiration for the brand’s other product categories. On this Meisterstück Selection document case, for example, the influence is seen in the nib- shaped detailing on handles and zip pulls.
Bag, $2,040
Housed in packaging designed by shoe and jewellery maestro Pierre Hardy, Hermès beauty products are objects of beauty in themselves. For Fall/Winter 2022, the house proposes a strong palette of its nail and lip colours. Nail polishes come in a silver or iridescent violet (better to match your new iPhone with), while lipsticks come in three fiery reds with a matte finish.
Nail polish, $74; lipstick, $118
A rugged classic that first became a streetwear staple in the ‘90s, the Timberland 6-Inch Boot gets its latest update courtesy of green fashion brand Pangaia. Available in Pangaia’s signature pink and green, as well as Timberland’s Wheat brown, the models have a cleaner look with their monochromatic styling as well as flaps that conceal the eyelets. Of course, their green credentials are in place; they are partly made from responsibly grown rubber, abaca plant fibre and organic cotton.
Boots, $359
To mark its 70th anniversary this year, Moncler teamed up with seven designers on seven collaborative models of its Maya short down jacket. The recently launched final drop was created by multi-hyphenate and pop-culture force Pharrell Williams and — surprise, surprise — it comprises neither down nor nylon. The black jacket is instead made of a rubber-like polymeric material dotted all over with embossed branding.
Jacket, $15,615
Finally, a form of inflation that will put a smile on your face. Loewe’s latest accessories get all puffed up, from balloons that look like they are being squashed under the heel of a shoe to these oversized acetate sunglasses in yellow (pictured), red, black or grey. Best as a gift for those with similarly outsized personalities.
Sunglasses, $510
