Barack and Michelle Obama to speak in Singapore in December

The former President of the United States and the First Lady to share their experiences and views.

The 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, and his wife, Michelle, will be speaking at two separate events in Singapore in December.

It is Barack’s first public business event in Singapore, and he will take to the stage to share his views on his time in office, while drawing on themes that shaped his presidency. The Growth Faculty-presented event will also see him, one of the most influential world leaders of our generation, share his thoughts on leadership in the world.

Michelle, meanwhile, will talk about the experiences, both public and private, that shaped her life. Attendees will be able to hear first-hand how Michelle navigated different, difficult moments that were shared in her 2018 memoir Becoming – from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an executive balancing motherhood and work, to her years spent at the White House.

The power couple will be speaking at the Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre.
