Halloween 2020: Dining, drinks and everything else (but spooky)

This Halloween’s terrifying and terrific themed menus to end off October.

Halloween just isn’t the same this year.

For one, the annual Halloween Horror Nights held by Universal Studios Singapore has been reported
missing from this year’s Halloween calendar for the first time since its inception in 2011 due to
Covid-19 restrictions.

Nor will there be any of the usual spooky affairs at your favourite nightspots: after all, we’re still
limited to five. Bloody Marys (in cocktail form or otherwise) won’t be making an appearance after
10.30pm, which does put a damper on things.

But hey, look on the bright side. It’s the perfect time to whip out your sexy nurse or killer surgeon
outfit without looking too out of place. We’re not making any guarantees that there won’t be
repeats among other revellers in the vicinity though.

Black Tap - The Halloween Shake

Known for its terrifically calorific shakes, Black Tap returns with The Halloween Shake: a towering, whimsical drink - if we can even call it that. After all, they’re called CrazyShakes. Available only from October 30 to November 1, you’ve got three scant days to get your hands on a chocolate-based giant that comes with a vanilla-and-candy-corn frosted rim, a whole chocolate cupcake emblazoned with a spiderweb motif, and orange rock candy, twisty pops and sprinkles. And this is just one shake. Just remember, if you don’t see the spider, it means that the arachnid is still very much alive.
