Takashi Murakami Grand Hyatt Tokyo

If you’re a fan of Japanese artist Takashi Murakami’s vibrant, colourful work, you’ll be glad to know that you can enjoy a stay in a spacious suite completely dedicated to his art.

A collaboration between the artist and Grand Hyatt Tokyo, the suite is bedecked in the bright hues of Murakami’s work. There are 14 pieces of his original artwork, as well as sculptures of his signature Flower motif that were created specially for this project – making the room one of the most Instagrammable in the world.

Some of the artworks you’ll get up close and personal with are the larger-than-life golden Flower Parent and Child sculpture, which stands at a towering 195cm, and paintings, rugs and flowerballs everywhere. It’s a whole private art gallery that you can sleep in.

That’s not all — you’ll also be treated to a special private in-room Flower dinner course and Flower sweet box, plus an optional Flower manicure. On top of all that, you’ll also receive an autographed book from the artist himself.

A night’s stay for two starts at JPY450,000. The hotel is accepting only one reservation per day, and we foresee it being booked out months in advance, so get your reservation in quick.
