Recovery Systems, a leading health and wellness company in Singapore, has officially unveiled its AI-powered recovery coach, Recovery Insights. This innovative app is tailored for athletes and fitness enthusiasts, utilising advanced artificial intelligence to optimise recovery and enhance overall performance, regardless of fitness levels or preferred platforms.

CEO Michael Lyons emphasises that Recovery Insights goes beyond a typical app, serving as a transformative coach that actively engages users throughout their fitness journey. By carefully analysing training data, the app delivers personalised, actionable recommendations for post-injury and post-workout recovery, enabling users to achieve their fitness goals more effectively.

Unlike traditional apps, Recovery Insights is available as a Progressive Web App (PWA), offering the benefits of native apps while bypassing the limitations. Users can install it on their devices and enjoy features such as push notifications, Bluetooth access, and seamless upgrades, eliminating the need for app store approvals.

The integration with popular fitness apps and devices, including Garmin, Strava, Apple, Wahoo, Polar, and Fitbit, allows effortless data syncing and instant insights for improved and expedited recovery.

With a significant shift toward health tech in Singapore, where 85 per cent of the population is embracing this technology, Recovery Systems aims to capitalise on the burgeoning health and wellness coaching market in the country. Projections indicate a market volume of US$86.93 million ($116.9 million) by 2028, with user penetration expected to rise from 39.78 per cent in 2023 to 51.05 per cent by 2028.

Michael sees Recovery Insights as a leader in this shift, stating, “We’re not just tracking data; we’re empowering individuals to train smarter, recover faster, and perform better.” He emphasises the app’s goal of democratising peak performance, making it safe, sustainable, and achievable for everyone.

Notably, the app has received feedback from a community of testers, including triathlete Chris Bray and coach Scott Larsen, who have expressed confidence in its potential to redefine recovery management.

Chris Bray, an age group triathlete, emphasised the app’s value, stating, “A recovery coach is truly a huge asset in guiding me on matching my training load with appropriate recovery to stay healthy and perform at my best.” Likewise, coach and ex-athlete Scott Larsen highlighted the app’s potential to provide new insights for both professional athletes and everyday individuals.

Looking ahead, Recovery Insights is poised for future advancements, including expanded integrations and continuous refinement of its artificial intelligence to introduce new recovery protocols. This commitment to ongoing development underscores the app’s dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions for health and performance optimisation.
