At Sozo Aesthetic Clinic, every individual is respected for the person they are, and also for the natural beauty they are born with. Headed by Dr Justin Boey, the team here has a simple philosophy: to embrace each person’s appearance and to help them put their best face forward.

To cater to the busy schedules of its clients, Sozo Aesthetic Clinic has situated its office at One Raffles Place, a convenient stop for those working in the CBD. The clinic offers innovative medical solutions that utilise the latest technology. For instance, Sozo is billed as the first clinic in Singapore and South-east Asia to offer Lutronic’s PicoPlus, a Korean-designed advanced second-generation multi-wavelength picosecond laser.

It is primarily used to treat Asian skin with stubborn pigmentation such as melasma and freckles. Said to be more effective than traditional lasers, Pico lasers aim to shatter pigmentation into smaller parts.

These are more easily removed by the body’s immune system, thus requiring fewer treatment sessions. As one of the first few Singaporean doctors to receive training in the Lutronic PicoPlus laser procedure in Seoul, Dr Boey is able to customise treatment plans for patients.

Sozo, which means “create” in Japanese and “restore” in Greek, is also one of the first clinics in Singapore and the region to offer Regenera Activa, a no-downtime US FDA-approved hair growth treatment that aims to use cells extracted from the scalp to stimulate areas of hair loss. This method is said to be suitable for men and women with mild to moderate hair loss or thinning.

Dr Boey has a keen eye for aesthetics and a wealth of experience under his belt. He received his Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery from National University of Singapore and went on to train in aesthetic medicine at the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and Queen Mary University of London.
