High design meets pure relaxation in luxurious Axor showers.

Befitting its status as a leading producer of innovative designer bathroom accessories for more than 25 years, Axor, under the Hansgrohe Group, has taken the shower experience to another level. Its new Axor 350 overhead shower comes with a feature called Powder Rain, which delivers water in light, micro-fine sprays that envelop the body more thoroughly than that from conventional shower heads.

This is due to the size and placement of its silicone nozzles, which Axor’s designers have spent decades refining – and resizing – to a diameter of just 0.35 mm each, compared with the industry standard of 0.6 to 1.2mm. Micro nozzles also mean more of them can fit on a spray disc. The new Axor 350 1jet overhead shower, for instance, features over 1,000 nozzles that generate a soft yet powerful mist of water for an extremely relaxing shower experience, says Jan Heisterhagen, vice-president, product management, Hansgrohe SE.

Axor’s showers also impress with their beautiful designs, a result of the brand’s regular collaborations with internationally acclaimed architects and product designers such as Philippe Starck, Antonio Citterio and Jean-Marie Massaud.

The waterfall spray of the Axor One massages the head and neck.

For its Axor One handshower, the brand partnered with renowned London-based industrial designers Barber & Osgerby, the duo behind the 2012 Olympic Torch. A striking interplay of curves and angles, this sleek handshower features two spray types – a waterfall-like band of water ideal for massaging the head and neck, and a soothing spray for body cleansing that’s activated at the push of a button.

Make it bold or understated – an Axor FinishPlus individualisation service offers finishes ranging from subdued black chrome to bold red-gold. Coming home to a hot shower after a day’s hard work never sounded like such a winning proposition.
