Lange & Sohne Lange 1 “25th Anniversary”

Fairly understated for an anniversary edition, the A. Lange & Sohne 1 “25th Anniversary” features the iconic design in white gold with a silver dial and blue accents. An interesting detail is the inclusion of a hunter case back, decorated with an engraving of the original manufacture from 1873. Flip the case open for a view of the 121.1 calibre, which shows off a balance clock with matching blue details.

Cartier Skeleton Dual Time Zone Tonneau

The Cartier Tonneau has come a long way since its first appearance in 1906, joining the Santos in challenging the notion of round watches. Its latest iteration is inspired by the Tonneau Double Fuseau from the 1990s, but is powered by one movement instead of two. The in-house 9919 MC was engineered such that the gear train would be aligned vertically and the rest of the components would fit inside the case’s contours. Available in platinum or pink gold, both limited to 100 pieces.

PAM00961, characterised by its olive green lume, comes with a multi-day training experience with Comsubin, the Navy’s elite diving unit. The regular production model, the PAM00979, can be distinguished by by its white Super-Luminova.

Vacheron Constantin Overseas Tourbillon

The tourbillon is the latest complication to join Vacheron Constantin’s travel-focused collection. It uses the in-house calibre 2160 first seen in the Traditionelle Tourbillon last year, which uses a peripheral rotor so as not to obscure views of the tourbillon from the back. It also offers a generous 80 hours of power reserve. The stainless steel watch comes with additional easy-to-change rubber and alligator straps.

The Kalpagraphe Chronometre is its more accessible, less elaborately decorated sibling, and the 2019 version sees it cased in sporty titanium instead of rose gold. The COSC-certified movement features a column wheel and vertical clutch, and a frequency of 5Hz.
