Halogen_Yellow Diamond Gala

The Halogen Foundation Singapore held its Yellow Diamond Gala Dinner on 30 August at the Sheraton Towers Singapore in celebration of 15 years of youth development work.

Founded in 2003, Halogen Foundation Singapore‘s mission is to inspire and influence a generation of young leaders. It also aims to be the recognised charity dedicated to transforming the lives of young people through leadership and entrepreneurial development.

The evening brought together donors and supporters who dined on a dinner menu specially prepared by the hotel’s executive chef Eric Cheam. Speaker of Parliament, Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, was also in attendance.

The evening’s programme included a celebration of winners of the National Young Leader Award as well as a silent auction which raised $540,000 for the Halogen Foundation Singapore. The proceeds will go towards the foundation’s work of nurturing young leaders and entrepreneurs. Entertainment in the form of LED Tron Dancers and 19-year-old singer Jermaine Leong, winner of talent show The Final 1, kept guests entertained at the dinner.
