Alfred Dunhill and The Great Escape

In his “continuing journey to define the very essence of British style”, Alfred Dunhill creative director John Ray channels the notion of escape in his latest collection. Think of an Englishman packing, before motoring from the city to his country home – it’s all imprecisely perfect. Silk safari over-shirts make for unfussy options alongside lightweight shirts featuring English botanical drawings, and a wool gingham suit is proper without being predictable. We imagine that all these would be stowed away in one of the season’s new leather goods, which include designs inspired by archival pieces.
