SHOW YOUR METAL
For the first time, Piaget is introducing its ultra-thin Altiplano with a polished gold (pink, as seen here, or white) bracelet, instead of a leather strap. Powered by the 543P automatic manufacture movement, the 38mm watch has a 42-hour power reserve. Wool-blend jacket and wool turtleneck top, from Brunello Cucinelli. Wool scarf, from Salvatore Ferragamo.

GLOBAL DOMINANCE
Omega resurrects the key designs of its early Constellation watches in the new Globemaster. The pie-pan dial and fluted bezel add plenty of personality to the 39mm steel watch, which is also the first to house a Master Chronometer-certified movement. Cotton-blend parka, from Brunello Cucinelli. Wool top, from Bottega Veneta. Wool scarf, from Gucci.

BACK TO THE FUTURE
Recent iterations of the Grande Reverso have seen the dial of the Jaeger- LeCoultre icon take on vibrant colours like red, blue and chocolate brown. Black, however, is the new black for the Grande Reverso 1931 Seconde Centrale, which takes its design cues from a heritage model. That said, its engine, the automatic manufacture calibre 966A, is anything but retro. Wool top, from Prada.

FINE AT FORTY
Forty years have passed since the Bulgari Roma was first introduced and, to celebrate, the brand is releasing four models this year, including the Bulgari Roma Finissimo. The ultra-thin watch is driven by the manual calibre BVL 128, which is just 2.23mm thick and allows the watch to measure just 5.15mm. Denim shirt and leather suspenders, from Bottega Veneta.

A SUBTLE FORCE
It doesn’t take a trained eye to tell that Blancpain’s Villeret 8-Day is an elegantly understated watch, with its glossy white dial and leaf-shaped hands. Closer examination of this timepiece, however, turns up impressive details. That white dial? Done in grand feu enamel. Its movement? The automatic in-house Calibre 1335, with an eight-day power reserve. Simple? Not quite. Wool-blend vest and cotton T-shirt, from Brunello Cucinelli. Hermes straw hat, stylist’s own.

A FINE VINTAGE
To celebrate the Portugieser’s 75th anniversary, IWC has released this 43mm watch inspired by the original model from the 1930s. Like its ancestor, the Portugieser Hand-Wound Eight Days Edition “75th Anniversary” in red gold bears a company logo identical to the original and a railway-style minute track. New features include a date display, and a manufacture calibre with an eight-day power reserve. Laminated cotton coat, cotton shirt and wool-blend trousers, from Alfred Dunhill.

SAXON SLEEKNESS
Legibility and elegance are the calling cards of A. Lange & Sohne designs, and the family that best epitomises this spirit is the Saxonia. Taking this sophisticated simplicity even further, the Saxonia Thin is just 5.9mm thick, making it the brand’s thinnest timepiece to date. Within the pink gold case of this 40mm watch is a manual in-house calibre, with a thickness of just 2.9mm. Cotton shirt with glass-bead embellishment, from Dolce & Gabbana. Sunglasses, stylist’s own.
