[dropcap size=small]S[/dropcap]ince embarking on their collaboration in 2013, much-loved Italian brands Maserati and Ermenegildo Zegna have worked together on exclusive releases ranging from accessories to a Quattroporte upholstered in customised fabrics. Now, the two brands have once again come together for a capsule collection of clothing and accessories.
A rich, deep brown hue characterises most of the classically cool range, designed for those who are constantly on the move. Classic tailored pieces such as a jacket are offered alongside smart-casual pieces such as a deerskin jacket with weather-resistant sleeves made from a technical wool knit. Leather goods including a backpack, driving gloves and driver shoes – all bearing the Maserati logo – make for chic accessories whether you’re travelling by car or by plane.
On that note, Zegna fans who happen to be travelling to London might want to pop by the brand’s New Bond Street boutique.
At the recent official opening of the store, the brand’s new creative director, Alessandro Sartori, presented his first project for Ermenegildo Zegna: a nine-piece collection of handsome bespoke shoe designs, created in partnership with English shoemakers Gaziano & Girling, and available only at the brand’s New Bond Street store.
