This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Autavia wristwatch family. A portmanteau of automobile and aviation, Autavia was the name initially used for the brand’s dashboard timers in cars and aircraft, starting from 1933. Featuring distinctive chronograph pushers and a large crown inspired by Tag Heuer’s historic dashboard instruments, the Autavia 60th Anniversary Flyback Chronograph marks the debut of the flyback function in the Autavia family. Powered by the automatic Calibre Heuer 02 COSC Flyback, the model is available with a silver or black dial, and in a steel or DLC-coated steel case, respectively.

02: Aquaracer Professional 200

Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200

Last year, Tag Heuer revamped its Aquaracer Professional 300 collection, making the dive watch sleeker and more refined. Now, it turns its focus to the Aquaracer Professional 200, which Tag Heuer’s VP of product and design Maria Laffont describes as a “bold, stylish, all-terrain sports watch”.

Available in a 40mm steel case, with a 30mm version also available, the Aquaracer Professional 200 is similar to the Professional 300 range in terms of aesthetics. Both, for instance have a 12-sided bezel and updated, shorter lugs that make them more wearable. The Professional 200, however, is smaller and slimmer than the Professional 300, and its bezel features a steel insert rather than a ceramic one. The Professional 200 collection features models with automatic or quartz movements.

03: Formula 1 Red Bull Racing Special Edition

Since 2016, Tag Heuer has partnered the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team, and their latest Formula 1 Red Bull Racing Special Edition timepiece pays tribute to this relationship. Naturally, the new watch bears the dark blue and red hues of Red Bull racing livery. Its navy sun-brushed dial and blue aluminium bezel contrasts with red accents such as the minute chapter ring. Elsewhere, the 43mm steel chronograph watch pays further tribute to the world of Formula 1 racing: For instance, a line above the numerals five and seven on the dial is meant to evoke the starting line of an F1 track.
