Sergio Rossi Open Concept Store

We’re living in the golden age of online shopping when it’s extremely easy to order luxury commodities through virtual sites and make payments securely—the hardest part is waiting for it to arrive at your doorstep.

That said, nothing really beats the experience of shopping in-store, where the customer service is a form of luxury itself. This is especially true when it comes to purchasing footwear—do they fit right? Are they comfortable? Can I actually walk in these? As great as online shopping is, brick and mortar stores still have their place in the fashion ecosystem. Which is why it should come as a happy surprise that Sergio Rossi has opened its Singapore flagship store at Takashimaya Department Store.

Sergio Rossi New Flagship Store

“I want to look towards the future with positivity and innovation, so I’m proud to open a new store in Singapore in such an unprecedented moment in which we must move in a new way, with flexibility and curiosity,” said Riccardo Sciutto, Sergio Rossi’s CEO “Facing the post Covid-19 era means acting with avant-garde ideas, with a new strategy and storytelling able to create a proper atmosphere and psychological context for shopping. Today the 43sqm store marks a significant step forward in the new history of Sergio Rossi and further supports the brand’s commitment to retail expansion in Asia”.

As with all Sergio Rossi products, a lot of thought and innovation has gone into making them—and its newly unveiled Singapore flagship is no different. The store’s concept was created by Italian architect Marco Costanzi and outfitted with bespoke furniture by interior designer Cristina Celestino.

The flagship store is emblematic of Sergio Rossi’s house codes of femininity, elegance and craftsmanship with their 70-year Italian heritage. Shades of nudes, amaranth, pine and pale green help provide additional visual clues to these brand hallmarks. Furthermore, everything from the carpeting to the wall structures and displays have been designed in such a way that makes shopping in the store that much more of a luxury experience.
