This hybrid four-door, of which only one will ever be made, was one of three Bentley custom models revealed at Art Basel Miami 2022 in recognition of their in-house personal commissioning division, Mulliner.

It is dressed in black (a two-tone Anthracite over Anthracite Satin) from head to toe, save for subtle accents like a stripe of Satin Bronze running along the vehicle’s body. That same satin is used on the Shoe Surgeon badges lining the car’s D pillars.

Other classic Surgeon motifs be found throughout the custom-made Flying Spur, particularly in its interior – such as LED puddle lights that project the designer’s skull and crossed scalpel logo onto the ground. The emblem can also be found on the headrest of every seat and the wood veneer covering the dashboard and door panels.

Dominic’s moniker, The Surgeon, can also be found on the door sill plates, dashboard and on each of the seats. As a final touch, his mantra, ‘Never Stop’, is emblazoned in block letters on the inner door sill.

Our verdict? An undeniably sleek and classy vehicle with plenty of personality from the famous designer subtly shining through.

An earlier collaboration between Bentley and The Surgeon this year saw a collection of ten limited-edition sneakers, which drew inspiration from the sneaker customiser’s visit to the British marque’s headquarters in Crewe, Cheshire. The shoes were made from the same leather hides that are used in Bentley’s cars, and bore Bentley design touches like diamond quilting and cross-stitching alongside his signature skull and scalpel monogram.
