We might boast having some of Asia’s best restaurants but not Michelin star chefs. Thankfully, Sofitel So‘s Xperience restaurant will be bringing in these culinary extraordinaires once every two months to plug that gap. One star chef Yuichi Kamimura from Kamimura Restaurant in Hokkaido kicked off the event in early July when he displayed his mastery in haute French cuisine at the 65-seater establishment along Robinson Road. Guests were treated to fresh seasonal produce like slow-cooked flounder with cabbage and clam (above), and hairy crab with cucumber sorbet. The chef for the next installment in September has not been announced, but we will be watching closely.
