On May 11, the Eurasian Association (EA) held its Charity Fundraising Dinner at J.W. Marriott Singapore South Beach, where over $500,000 was raised for the association’s work in improving the lives of the underprivileged in the Eurasian community. Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam graced the event as guest of honour.
The menu for the night was specially curated by Eurasian chefs Quentin Pereira and Kenneth Francisco. Entertainment included well-known Eurasian artistes such as musician Jeremy Monteiro and singers Vernon Cornelius and Megan Barker.
