On June 12 and 13, fashion label Lisa Von Tang debuted its latest collection, ‘I Am Durga’, to a gathering of VIPs at private members’ club Straits Clan. Led through an unconventional catwalk featuring a series of rooms-turned-performance-spaces, guests bore witness to a modern storytelling of the Durga myth – deeply rooted in Hindu mythology – which inspired the collection. Lisa Von Tang's trademark East-meets-West aesthetic played out in the richly coloured collection reminiscent of South Asian fashion styles.
