The Spirit of Enterprise (SOE) held its annual SOE Awards at The Ritz-Carlton, Millennia Singapore, on Oct 17. Indicating the vibrancy of Singapore’s entrepreneurial scene, this year’s SOE Awards saw an overwhelming number of honourees – 42 in the "Established Entrepreneurs" category, and 13 in the "Start-up" category. This marked a milestone in SOE’s journey towards honouring and inspiring excellence in entrepreneurship in Singapore. The SOE-Nexia TS Entrepreneurship award went to Richard Eu, non-executive chairman of Eu Yan Sang International. He was a past honouree, and the award was given in recognition of his ability to take his business to a new level of growth. Chee Hong Tat, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry & Education, was the guest of honour for the evening.
