SPH Media, Singapore’s trusted national news company, has inked a strategic licensing agreement with Ashrayu Media, an Indian publishing company with a strong presence within India’s media ecosystem, to introduce The Peak and F ZINE in India.
As Singapore’s premier business lifestyle title, The Peak has been chronicling the journeys of leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries since 1984. The publication’s expansion into India aims to galvanise a modern reframing of the leadership, luxury and wealth editorial space into one that is more purposeful and thought-provoking.
F ZINE has been the definitive chronicler of youth culture in Singapore since 1974. This move into India plays perfectly into the expanding youth market in India, where a savvy and affluent generation is ready for inspiring and affirmative content that blends style, culture, and social commentary.
The first issue of F ZINE India is slated for publication in the last quarter of 2026, with that of The Peak India to follow soon after.
Mr Toh Dasheng, Head of Lifestyle & Out-of-Home Media, SPH Media, said, “We are excited to partner with Ashrayu Media to introduce The Peak and F ZINE into one of the world’s most dynamic markets. There is a clear appetite in India for the sophisticated, high-calibre lifestyle content that defines these brands from SPH Media. In Ashrayu Media, we have found a like-minded partner to engage India’s discerning modern audiences.”
Mr Sudhakar Adapa, Chairman, Ashrayu Media, said, “This licensing agreement marks a defining chapter in Ashrayu Media’s expansion. India’s luxury and lifestyle sectors are experiencing unprecedented growth, making this the ideal moment to introduce these iconic brands to our readers. We are confident that F ZINE and The Peak will establish themselves as definitive voices for luxury, business, and culture in India.”
As India’s luxury market is being shaped by a new generation of globally connected consumers and individuals who prioritise quality over quantity, meaning over noise, and authenticity over excess, the launch of F ZINE India and The Peak India serves to reflect this shift through original reporting, editorial features, and curated storytelling that connects international perspectives with India’s evolving cultural, fashion, lifestyle, and business landscape.
Mr Zat Astha, The Peak Singapore’s Editor-in-Chief said, “The best stories today rarely stop at national borders. Capital, talent, and ideas move fluidly across Asia, yet our editorial conversations too often remain fragmented.
The launch of The Peak India creates an opportunity to connect these conversations with greater depth whilst offering readers a richer understanding of the businesses, and cultural shifts shaping our region.”
