Perhaps it was his childhood years surrounded by nature that has nurtured a green streak in Wong. This has, in turn, translated into solutions that Advanced has introduced to help reduce and eliminate pollution.
“The importance of the environment has always been on my mind. Our company has a mandate of being eco-friendly. We have been exploring various technologies on the environmental side, where we can help to decrease carbon emissions,” Wong says.
For instance, Advanced has developed methods to effectively treat portable and industrial wastewater “to a quality that doesn’t pollute the environment when discharged”. It has also engaged in the design and supply of clean energy solutions, including products or technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Wong adds: “We help clients monitor their carbon emissions so they meet required standards. There are also projects where we treat and convert waste to energy.
“This mindset of sustainability will continue to influence the work we do.”
