01. Matsusaka Beef Fair
1-11 Sep 2016
Officials from the region are introducing their top-grade beef via a fortnight-long affair at Wisma Atria's Japan Food Town, where air-flown A4 grade Matsusaka beef will be served up at 10 participating restaurants. Go straight for the pricier options - why stinge on a one-off tasting?

03. Savour Wines Festival
9-11 Sep 2016
The inaugural edition of this 3-day festival showcases over 400 labels of specially curated wines from around the world - and the very reasonably-priced entrance passes entitle each holder to taste at least 10.
The regular gourmet festivals have seen so much success that it's safe to expect a healthy crowd - some sessions are already sold out!

04. ART EXHIBITION: SALVADOR DALI & PIERRE ARGILLET - 30 OF COLLABORATION
11 Sept - 5 Oct 2016
All the works have been authenticated and signed by Dali, and will be available for viewing and acquisition during the period. This exhibition builds upon the first at REDSEA Gallery two years ago, when works from the collection were first shown in Singapore. More information, plus the schedule for guided tours, here.

05. “Blood of Jove” Wine Dinner at Osteria Mozza

Osteria Mozza Grilled Iberico Pork Chop
Macabre-sounding to the uninitiated, but you already knew Sangiovese was named for Sanguis Jovis - or Latin for blood of Jove, the Roman king of gods. Osteria Mozza at Marina Bay Sands pays tribute to the increasingly popular ruby-coloured drink with a 5-course paired dinner. Expect: "Iberico Pork Chop with fennel, onion and Sambuca, Maltagliati with duck ragu as well as Wagyu Beef Tagliata with rucola and parmigiano reggiano.

06: Cape Mentelle Wine Dinner at db Bistro & Oyster Bar

Spiced Saddle of Lamb at db Bistro & Oyster Bar
Enjoy the wines of Cape Mentalle – a pioneer winery of the Margaret River wine region in West Australia - with a 5-course menu prepared by executive chef Jonathan Kinsella (who, by the way, snagged the G Restaurant Award of Excellence for the restaurant again).
The winery has played a leading role in defining the regional style of Cabernet and is widely recognized for blending Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon to create outstanding wines. Dish highlights include grilled hamachi with grapefruit, avocado, smoked tomato vinaigrette, seared foie gras with roasted plums, shallots, red wine sauce and Harrisa spiced saddle of lamb.
