First introduced in 2010, the performance-focused executive class Rapide is the spiritual successor to the Lagonda Rapide. Most notably, it's one of the marque's few four-door saloons. It's getting an Aston Martin Racing (AMR) pass come this year, so expect sportier trim and a touch more rev.

Out the gate, the Rapide AMR will hit make a century sprint in 4.4s, and sports carbon ceramic clappers to rein in the brand's first 21-inch wheels on any model. Top speed is a blistering 330kmh. The ride height? It's slung even lower than the existing Rapide S - coming a good 10mm closer to the tarmac. At a smidge longer than 5m, this is the one you want painting the lawn or ample driveway, but kept away from those darn mall carparks and their infernal humps.
