Belmond launching South America's First Luxury Sleeper Train

Luxury sleeper trains are coming to South America – hotel and leisure company Belmond will be launching the Andean Explorer in Peru, which will begin operating from May 2017. This is the first sleeper train in the continent and one of the highest tracks in the world, travelling through the Peruvian Andes from Cusco to Lake Taiticaca and the city centre of Arequipa, a UNESCO World Heritage site, on one or two-night journeys. In addition, the sights aboard the Andean Explorer are unique to the experience - find out more here, or in the August issue of the Peak.
