Park Bench Deli is another top joint for its flavour packed sandwiches. Located at 179 Telok Ayer Street, this place is a favourite among the chef and bartender community too.
The best seller here is the Pastrami Reuben – sandwiched in between toasted sourdough is a generous portion of pastrami that has been brined and smoked in-house. The towering sandwich which comes with Swiss cheese is offset with sauerkraut and dill pickle. If you don’t mind a somewhat delicious mess, go for the cheesesteak composed of 150g of shaved beef partnered with cheese, charred onions, and bell peppers. Both these items are available on the sandwich menu (from 11am to 4pm).
The BLT, the new kid on the breakfast menu, packs a punch with housemade smoked bacon, thick cut Roma tomatoes, butter lettuce, fried egg and roasted garlic mayo – all stacked in between fluffy toasted potato buns. It is available on breakfast menu from 8am to 4pm.

The newly renovated Dolcetto at Regent Singapore’s lobby is a great place for a morning or afternoon tea break. Order one of the Italian sandwiches such as Culatello Panini composed of lightly grilled housemade Italian semolina bread filled with layers of culatello, a prized salumi native of Parma, Emilia Romagna, along with artisanal aged brancaleone cheese from Norcia in Umbria. Local microgreens lend freshness to the rich combination of the culatello and cheese. There’s also Dolcetto’s hearty Roast Angus Beef Sandwich, which is great for any time of the day.
