Singapore’s jazz scene has always thrived in pockets — dimly lit rooms, late-night sets, and a loyal crowd that knows when to listen.
What hasn’t changed is the city’s appetite for live music done right. From intimate lounges where the band is just an arm’s length away, to polished venues pairing tight sets with serious cocktails, jazz here remains as much about atmosphere as it is about musicianship.
Whether you’re dropping in for a midweek wind-down or settling in for a full evening of improvisation, these are the bars keeping Singapore’s jazz rhythm going.
Cool Cats
Enter Cool Cats, and it’s like you’re stepping back in time to the 1920s. The swanky live music lounge delivers the traditional, sought-after ‘jazz bar’ vibes with its dim lighting, speakeasy-inspired interior design, and classic cocktail menu.
The bar wants to ensure that its live performances are a spectacle for all onlookers and thus has enlisted an impressive lineup of artists both locally and internationally acclaimed. Their focus is on blues and jazz, with a little R&B thrown in too, so you’re in for a captivating evening.
