The Great Room is known for its hospitality-inspired design, with inspiration derived from some of the best hotel lobbies. We are absolutely in love with the flattering lighting, decor, rich colour palette and furnishings that speak of a restrained elegance and worldly sophistication.

Banish Monday blues with the Monday Breakfast Club, a sumptuous breakfast gathering where members exchange ideas over a fresh cuppa brewed by an in-house barista. In the evening, a turndown cart comes round with warm cookies and hot chocolate, all in bid to end Monday on a sweet note.

Crane

Housed in the former Nan Chiau Girl’s School building, Crane’s industrial-retro decor makes it look like a playground for the millennial, Instagram-loving crowd, but it’s actually designed for ‘grownups’. There is no age restriction to be a member, although there are special membership deals for those aged 45 years and above. It offers plenty of hot desking spots and a business centre with concierge services. On top of that, members get access to complimentary fitness activities and workshops, and even massages, but for a fee. A cafe, patisserie and bar are just next door.

Found8

Found8 is the result of a merger of two prominent co-working spaces, Collision 8 and Found. Being a partner of Google for Startups, they have free access to over 50 Google Tech Hubs in 20 countries around the world, as well as credit for various Google products like Google Cloud Storage and Google Apps, mentoring and clinics/ workshops by Google experts, and access to Google global startup programs exclusive to Google Partners (e.g. Blackbox, Demo Day, Campus Exchange). You can now boast of an office which rivals those of Google and Facebook. Hello productivity.

Trehaus @ City Hall

First launched in 2016, Trehaus was built as a co-working space with a creche and nursery. In August, it launches version 2.0, at a new location that is three times bigger and with more facilities. For working parents, there is the Business Club, a co-working space with dedicated desks, meeting rooms, an adults only sanctuary and child-friendly common spaces. Its new corporate membership programme is for forward-thinking companies that want to provide flexible work arrangements and work-life integration for employees. Under this programme, an employee is able to use the co-working space, and a child gets access to Trehaus’ creche. Also new is its Silicon Valley-inspired preschool and childcare for kids two months to six years old. It offers its own curriculum, incorporating research-based pedagogies and philosophies, while focusing on character-building. There are also enrichment classes and an indoor playground in its new Family Club, which is open to non-members too.

IncuBaker Cafe & Studio

Say your home baking business is booming and you want to scale up production. But you also just want to bake and not have to deal with finding the right location, start-up, legal, infrastructure and other business issues. IncuBaker Cafe & Studio handles all the paperwork while you focus on your product.

Located at Infinite Studios, IncuBaker is the first National Environment Agency (NEA) approved co-working kitchen and endorsed by Enterprise Singapore. What this means is that IncuBaker has licensed kitchen facilities, and you get access to quality kitchen equipment such as ovens, chillers, mixers and food processors, and induction hobs. You only need to bring ingredients, and have a valid NEA Basic Food Hygiene Handler certification to use the space. Besides the kitchen, there is also a cafe, where members can hold pop-up events or meetings with potential clients.

The Working Capitol

Housed in a historic Art Deco-style building along Keong Saik Road, we love the exterior as much as we love the interior.

Core Collective Dempsey

Core Collective is a community space for health, fitness and wellness professionals who are keen to start out on their own, expand or integrate with other professionals. It started in early 2018 at Anson Road, and has been so successful that it spawned a second branch at Dempsey. While the Anson Road branch is targeted at the working crowd, activities at Dempsey are more suited for the family. Core Collective Dempsey has three studios – for yoga, Pilates and barre or ballet classes. There are smaller rooms for wellness services, as well as an open space for weights and functional training.

Those who can’t leave their laptops, can hot desk at the high tables. There’s plenty of outdoor space for events, and kids are welcome to take part in ballet and dance lessons. There is also a raised pool, where they can learn swimming, while mum and dad attend aqua fitness classes. While keeping fit is important, so is fuelling up. F&B joints, Baker & Cook, and Plank Sourdough Pizza have opened there.

The Carrot Patch

The Carrot Patch is the first co-working space in Singapore to introduce the new concept of transforming hotel and arcade bars into co-working spaces. Thanks to this new concept, bars that usually only operate at night get repurposed into inspiring and fun workspaces during the day.

There are multiple locations – SKAI Bar, Level Up and Henderson.

We love the one at SKAI Bar, based right above City Hall MRT station. It has a stunning setting featuring breath-taking panoramic views of Singapore’s glittering cityscape, as well as stations offering bottomless coffee & tea.

Prices are $20 for a single access pass and $220 a month for unlimited access.
