[dropcap size=small]T[/dropcap]he inaugural CRIB Summit, to be held at Capella Singapore, will bring together respected thought leaders, trailblazing entrepreneurs and female role models together during the Mar 11-12 weekend. The Summit promises to be a keystone networking event for women currently involved in, or looking to, effect positive impacts on society

The two-day affair, which is split into a symposium format alongside a series of workshops, is organised by CRIB, a non-profit social enterprise with the goal of empowering women entrepreneurs. The accomplished quartet behind the organisation are Dr Elaine Kim (doctor, founder of Trinity Gallery), Tjin Lee (MD of a marketing firm and force behind Singapore Fashion Week), Marilyn Lum (director of an investment firm) and Mei Chee (regional head at a multinational tech company).

One of four CRIB co-founders, Elaine Kim.

Those who attend the conference can expect to hear from an illustrious line-up of international thought leaders, while meeting like-minded individuals who’re keen to kickstart something new, or veterans who’ve run the gauntlet and have tips to dispense and networks to share.

Among some of the speakers delivering addresses or keynotes at the symposium. There are over 10 workshops to choose from, aimed at getting aspirant entrepreneurs up to speed with the skills or contacts they will need. There will also be a CRIB Marketplace – a showcase of wares from successful CRIB businesses – to check out.

CRIB Summit is proudly supported by DBS Foundation, Capella, Salesforce, American Express, CXA Group and Amasia.

Buy a conference pass at $500, or sign up to be a Crib member and get a discounted rate of $380. Visit this page to find out more. For those who intend to get the most out of the Summit, there’s even a retreat package which includes a stay at the five-star establishment.
