Devialet brings us its first high-fidelity portable smart speaker with 360° stereo sound, all packaged in the new Mania. It's a powerhouse boasting six distinct drivers, guaranteeing top-tier stereo playback.

Comprising twin woofers employing a clever push-pull arrangement, these drivers showcase an impressive 4mm of dynamic movement.

Retailing locally at $1,395, it has a frequency range spanning 30Hz to 20,000Hz, with audio that impressively reaches a crescendo at 95 decibels. Additionally, it features ASC (Active Stereo Calibration), a cutting-edge technology that uses four room-calibrating microphones and built-in intelligence.

This innovation enables the Devialet Mania to automatically adjust its audio output according to the environment it's in.

The lean machine features four microphones strategically placed for measuring reflective surfaces and fine-tuning the output of its four full-range speakers, ensuring a consistently immersive stereo experience.

A dedicated button mutes the microphones, while the built-in G-sensor detects movement, triggering instant recalibration when the speaker is picked up or relocated.

Running on DOS2, the same software ecosystem as Devialet Phantom and Devialet Dione, the Devialet Mania offers bluetooth convenience, while also equipped with Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2, and Spotify Connect. The companion app provides access to various EQ settings and introduces Alexa support.

With portability as a priority, it flaunts a built-in handle, IPX4 water resistance, and a battery delivering up to 10 hours of continuous playback. You can also easily juice it up via its USB-C port or via the included base unit.

To commemorate this first-of-its-kind product from Devialet, the brand has partnered with Fendi to release an exclusive edition, which recently made its debut at the Fendi Fall/Winter 2024 runway show.

This Fendi X Devialet collaboration has given the case a stylish transformation — in FF fabric — available in brown and tobacco with gold or grey and black accents. The price for this edition has yet to be announced, but it will be available in Summer 2024.
