Elvis Presley’s BMW 507 Revived for Concours d’Elegance, California on Aug 21

The car chassis number 70079, which had been lost for 50 years before being found in a pumpkin factory, took two years for BMW Group Classic to restore.

German luxury carmaker BMW’s Group Classic will unveil American musician Elvis Presley’s restored racer for the first time to public on Aug 21 during the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance luxury car show in California, US. The BMW 507 chassis number 70079, driven by the King of Rock’n’Roll during his Germany military service, had been believed to be lost for nearly 50 years. The two-year restoration included old-school paint application and usage of 3D printed parts, to ensure the car remained as close to the original as possible.
