By penthouse standards, this 1,500 sq ft (139 sqm) duplex off Joo Chiat might be considered small, so the owner’s interior design consultants, Distinctidentity, sought to maximise its space.

They proposed an innovative solution to the couple’s storage problems in the living room – a feature wall that stores shoes and also displays ornaments.

In the master bedroom, the original wall with a window (which couldn’t be opened) has been replaced with glass folding doors to bring more light into the bedroom and give the couple the feeling of openness they so love.
