From headlining acts to bespoke compositions, the JASS Benefit Gala 2024 offers a night where music and legacy intertwine

The Jazz Association Singapore (JASS) is back with its annual Benefit Gala, themed “Love Is Here to Stay: Gala of Peace and Love.” On October 19, 2024, the Shangri-La Singapore will become a beacon of rhythm and soul, celebrating the vibrant spirit of jazz rapidly defining Singapore’s cultural landscape.

This year’s gala sets the stage for a new generation of jazz talent while supporting a community that has come to embody resilience, creativity, and a touch of the extraordinary.

The gala promises an unforgettable line-up, headlined by none other than 2024 Grammy Award winner Carmen Bradford. Known for her commanding presence and work with the legendary Count Basie Orchestra, Bradford will share the stage with the Jazz Association Singapore Orchestra (JASSO) under the expert baton of Jeremy Monteiro, JASS’s executive director and music director. 

The evening also shines a spotlight on Sneha Menon, a promising vocalist from the Jazz Association Singapore Youth Orchestra (JASSYO!), who has already wowed audiences alongside members of the Dizzy Gillespie Band at the Lion City Jazz Festival.
