Best luxury hotel packages for FIFA World Cup 2026 — from a US$1M New York penthouse to a private jet into Miami

With 104 matches across three countries and a Final at MetLife Stadium that already has the world talking, FIFA World Cup 2026 is the luxury travel moment of the decade — and these hotels are rising to meet it.

Every four years, the world stops for football. But 2026 isn’t just another World Cup — it’s the biggest one in the tournament’s history, and for the first time ever, it’s landing in North America in a way that’s quite impossible to ignore.

48 teams. 104 matches. 16 host cities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

A grand finale at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19 is already shaping up to be the most anticipated sporting event of the decade. For context: Qatar 2022 had 32 teams and 64 matches.

The “United Bid” — a joint proposal from the US, Canada, and Mexico — beat out Morocco at the 68th FIFA Congress in Moscow in 2018, winning by a decisive 134 votes to 65. What clinched it was pragmatism: 16 stadiums already built, operational, and with regular tenants, versus Morocco’s requirement for up to US$16 billion ($20.56 billion) in new infrastructure.

FIFA projected the North American bid would generate US$2 billion more in ticket and hospitality revenue — and with an estimated US$30.5 billion in economic impact across the three host nations, 1.2 million international visitors expected in US host cities alone, and roughly 824,000 jobs tied to the tournament, it’s safe to say those projections weren’t conservative.

The US takes the lion’s share, hosting 78 of the 104 matches across 11 cities. Mexico brings Estadio Azteca back into World Cup action for a historic third time. And Canada gets its World Cup debut in Toronto and Vancouver.

As for the luxury hospitality industry? It’s been taking notes — and the packages being rolled out for this tournament are some of the most ambitious, extravagant, and frankly extraordinary we’ve seen. Here are the eight worth knowing about.

  1. 1. The Mark Hotel, New York
  2. 2. The Peninsula New York
  3. 3. The Setai, Miami Beach
  4. 4. Gansevoort Meatpacking, New York
  5. 5. XV Beacon, Boston
  6. 6. The Langham, New York
  7. 7. Ritz-Carlton Toronto
  8. 8. Andaz Mexico City Condesa

The Mark Hotel, New York

If there’s one package that perfectly captures just how far luxury hospitality will go to outdo itself for this World Cup, it’s this one. The Mark World Cup Extravaganza takes over the entire top two floors of The Mark — one of Manhattan’s most storied Upper East Side addresses — and turns it into a private headquarters for six guests from July 16 to 21, which means you’ll be there for the Final.

And when it’s time to actually get to MetLife Stadium? You won’t be catching NJ Transit.

A private helicopter lifts off from Manhattan, delivers you to pitch-side premium seating, and brings you back to the penthouse once the final whistle blows. In between matches, there’s a 24-hour butler, an on-call massage therapist, caviar service from Caviar Kaspia, a private yacht charter through New York Harbor, and a terrace with martinis, sweeping views of Central Park, and the kind of silence that only money can buy.

It is, without question, the most theatrical World Cup package on the market right now.

From US$1,000,000 for four nights (July 16 to 21, 2026)

The Peninsula New York

The Peninsula doesn’t do anything by halves, and its World Soccer Championship Finals Package is exactly the kind of offer you’d expect from one of Midtown’s grande dames.

Five nights in a suite, two premium tickets to the World Cup Final at MetLife Stadium, chauffeured airport transfers, match-day transport, Fan Village access at Rockefeller Center, and a bespoke welcome gift — all wrapped in the sort of white-glove service that makes you feel like the city is running on your schedule, not the other way around.

The Midtown address is half the appeal, too: Fifth Avenue boutiques and Central Park essentially on your doorstep, and everything else a short, comfortable ride away. For guests who want the Full World Cup Final experience without the theatrics of a US$1 million penthouse takeover, this is the gold standard.

From US$400,000 to US$500,000 for five nights (July 14 to 19, 2026)

The Setai, Miami Beach

Leave it to The Setai to be the only hotel on this list that gets you to Miami by private jet. Both World Cup packages — the Champions Experience and the Premier Experience — include round-trip continental US travel via Setai Aviation, which immediately sets them apart from every other offering in the market.

The Champions Experience puts up to eight guests in the four-bedroom Grand Suite (3,550 sq ft of oceanfront living), with a private dining experience in the Kyoto Room, a caviar and champagne weekend brunch, a welcome ALB Vodka and caviar bar set up in-suite, daily breakfast at Jaya, and private airport and gameday transfers.

The Premier Experience offers the same inclusions for up to six guests in the three-bedroom Oceanfront Suite, spanning 2,810 sq ft. Miami is hosting seven matches at Hard Rock Stadium — including a quarter-final and the bronze final — so there’s plenty of football to anchor a stay around. The Setai just makes sure getting there is as memorable as being there.

Gansevoort Meatpacking, New York

The Gansevoort has always known how to make an entrance, and its Ultimate Football Suite Package for World Cup 2026 is no different.

Guests staying in the newly unveiled Duplex Penthouse — a 1,700 sq ft two-storey loft with sweeping Hudson River views and an art collection that reads like a private gallery — are transferred to MetLife Stadium by private helicopter, departing directly from the Meatpacking District with Dom Pérignon and Petrossian caviar in hand.

The package includes two tickets to the England vs Panama group-stage fixture, access to Seven24 Collective, curated in-room amenities, and a next-day recovery spa session with Maison Sisley.

At US$30,000 for two nights, it’s the most cinematic match-day experience in the city — and frankly, the only one where the journey to the stadium rivals the game itself.

From US$30,000 for two nights (June 26 to 28, 2026)

XV Beacon, Boston

Boston tends to get overlooked in the World Cup hotel conversation, which is exactly why XV Beacon is worth your attention.

The boutique Beacon Hill property — a converted Beaux-Arts building that feels more like a very well-appointed private residence than a hotel — is the only luxury package we found in the city, and it’s tailored for guests who want the full picture rather than just a match ticket.

The World Cup at XV Beacon Experience covers a multi-night suite stay, daily gourmet breakfast, private round-trip transfers to Gillette Stadium, a champagne welcome reception at the stadium, and a fully designed itinerary across both match days and leisure days, complete with Boston-inspired welcome gifts.

Boston is hosting seven matches — including a quarter-final on July 9 — making it one of the more compelling bases for guests following the tournament through the knockout rounds. Booking is by inquiry only, which feels right for a property that operates more like a bespoke concierge service than a booking engine.

From US$12,000 (available across Boston match dates: June 13, 16, 19, 23, 26, 29, and July 9)

The Langham, New York

The Matchday Experience at The Langham sits at a more accessible price point than its neighbours on this list, but it makes up for it in sheer thoughtfulness.

Two lower-level match tickets to a fixture of your choosing at MetLife Stadium, a private coaching session in Manhattan with Fundamental Futbòl Academy (transportation included), an in-room PlayStation 5 with a curated game selection, a personalised team jersey, official match ball, shin guards, and club-level accommodation — it’s the package for the guest who wants to be genuinely immersed in the football, not just adjacent to it.

The Fifth Avenue address is as classic New York as it gets, and the club-level experience ensures the service never lets the tournament’s energy eclipse the comfort of the stay. A 30-day advance booking is required, and it’s limited to select June group stage match dates, so if this one speaks to you, move quickly.

From US$10,590 (select match dates in June 2026)

Ritz-Carlton Toronto

Toronto doesn’t always get its due as a World Cup city, but it probably should — BMO Field is right in the heart of the Entertainment District, and Canada’s debut as a co-host nation means the city is carrying great national pride into every fixture.

The Ritz-Carlton Toronto has positioned itself as the premium base for match-goers, with its Gallery Meeting Room available as an exclusive private watch party suite for those who’d rather entertain than navigate the crowds.

For guests booking rooms directly, there are discounted rates for longer stays and celebration packages that include breakfast and meals on match days. Rooms range from CAD$860 to CAD$2,965, depending on suite level — a relatively reasonable entry point for a Ritz-Carlton in tournament mode.

From CAD$860 per night; private suite access from CAD$8,000 minimum spend

Andaz Mexico City Condesa

For guests who want to experience the World Cup closer to where it all began — the tournament opens on June 11 at Mexico City’s legendary Estadio Azteca, making it one of the most historically loaded matches of the entire competition — the Andaz Mexico City Condesa is the place to stay.

Set in the leafy, cafe-lined streets of Condesa, the Hyatt-backed property is offering FIFA guests a 20 per cent rate reduction, with easy access to the stadium and three very good reasons to stay on-site: Cabuya Rooftop for Mexican-Caribbean seafood with skyline views, Wooftop Beer Garden & Canine Club for a more casual pre-match drink, and Portico for a proper Mexican breakfast with house-baked pastries before kick-off.

It’s the most neighbourhood-native option on this list, and for a luxury reader who wants the atmosphere of one of the world’s great cities alongside their football, it delivers on both counts.
