German startup Nova has launched the most discreet earphones ever. Shaped like earrings, these wireless headphones feature a patented technology whereby the sound goes directly from the earlobe to the ear canal, without anyone nearby being able to notice it.

Over the last few years, wireless headphones have become nothing less than veritable fashion accessories. So it's not surprising that they now look like real jewelry. The first of the kind comes from Nova, which is causing a sensation with its pair of wireless headphones H1 Audio.

How it works

1/1

All its technology is directly integrated in a pearl, put on an earring, in the customer's choice of gold or silver. Seen from the outside, they could be classic earrings, but in fact they are real headphones, with which you can listen to music or make phone calls.

Note that each loop weighs just 7 grams. The technology developed by Nova is called Directional Sound, which enables sound to be sent from the earlobe to the ear canal. This also means that no one around can hear what is being played. And since the ear is not blocked, the user can also still hear the surrounding noise with no one else noticing that music is being played from the jewellery.

A pair of Nova H1 Audio in gold costs 695 euros and a pair in silver costs 595 euros (around S$970).
