[dropcap size=small]D[/dropcap]ressed to the nines and strutting sizzle and style, over 300 svelte and suave guests hailing from Singapore’s upper crust descended on Shangri-La Hotel on 13 Apr – a Friday evening – for ICON Magazine’s 13th anniversary bash and ball extraordinaire.
The by-invitation-only event of the year was styled “The Future is Here” – and boy, did guests oblige with a showcase of edgy couture gowns and dapper suits. Festivities, good chow and suspense earmarked the night as 20 ladies were named Best Dressed (of) 2018, a coveted title.

For the first time, the gents got their time in the limelight as well – three walked away with the “Best Dressed Gentlemen” accolade for sporting immaculate or unusual suits, perhaps paving the way for more awardees next year. ION Orchard, a key business partner of the luxury magazine, handed out awards to three stylish couples as well.
As is usually the case, many couples influential and well-regarded in the upper echelons of society attended the event – and so naturally, scores of Peak readers were present. Here’s who we caught at the night to remember.
