CANAPES, CHAMPAGNE AND MASTERCLASSES

Discover how to tie wedding bouquets, create vase arrangements and style themed table arrangements in a stunning 7,000 sq ft atelier at Delta House, which includes an all-glass flower cellar. Luxury florist Floral Atelier will be launching a series of workshops and masterclasses in March for private groups and/or individuals who are casual hobbyists or planning to take their interests further as a business or a career. There are two to three workshops per week, each lasting two to three hours with drinks and snacks. Some workshops will be more immersive, like the Table Styling & Setting series, which may include a sit-down meal after each class so participants can use the table setting created during the class. Floral Atelier also offers workshops at your home if you prefer to host your guests in a private setting.

THE RITZ-CARLTON SPA

SPA-RTY TIME

We are in 2022. Instead of throwing a party, have a spa-rty instead at the Ritz- Carlton Spa. The only difference is that everything will be done for you. Arrive at your appointment with two to four friends and plan to spend three hours in an ultra-indulgent session that includes a 60-minute ESPA Custom Facial, a 60-minute Relaxation Massage and a 60-minute Nourished Glow, a back exfoliation and massage using nourishing oils follow. There’s more pampering to come. Afterwards, you and your friends will then be whisked off to the hotel’s poolside cabana for a glass of champagne and a three-course set lunch of a salad, pan-roasted salmon fillet, and apple crumble.

YOUR DAY AWAY

Capella's Auriga Spa offers bespoke spa journeys for those who like to spend all day with their tribe. These journeys allow you to add at least three complementary activities with your facial or massage.

Your itinerary could look like this: start the day with fitness classes like yoga or HIIT, then follow it up with a wellness experience such as a 90-minute massage or facial. Auriga's wellness experiences also come with its Purification Water Experience, which helps loosen tight, tired muscles in the spa's vitality pool. Next on the menu: a healthy lunch. Then, break out of the post-lunch stupor with one of three workshops: Aromatherapy, where you’ll learn how to use essential oils at home, Tea Alchemy that teaches you how to blend herbs and tea leaves, or Mindful Mandala Painting, where you can find out more about the calming effects of mandalas.

SOUND HEALING

Throughout the year, the Space 2B meditation studio holds private, small- group sound healing experiences. These include Sound Baths, which re- tune the body and help the mind to relax with a cacophony of sound and varying frequencies and vibrations from alchemy crystal singing bowls, gongs and tuning forks. Sound healing is said to help participants achieve a more holistic healing experience by guiding them into a deeper meditative state.

BRASS LION DISTILLERY

MAKE YOUR OWN GIN

Singapore isn't the first country that springs to mind when thinking of gin, but Brass Lion Distillery, the home-grown maker of ward-winning Singapore Dry Gin, has been working hard to change that perception. It offers two private experiences on its premises for up to five people each at a time.

One of these is the 75-minute Private Distillery Tour with guided gin tasting that kicks off with a welcome drink before visiting the distillery and herb garden, where you will get to know more about the botanicals that go into Singapore Dry Gin. Then comes the fun part: a tasting experience of six gins and the tonics that pair best with each of them.

If you want to elevate your knowledge and have more time to spare, the Gin School will teach you the art and craft of gin-making. During the course of two to three hours, you will be introduced to different types of gin and become familiar with different botanicals and flavour profiles, and then you get to distil your unique gin using a copper still. The ultimate reward: a 500ml bottle which you can take home for bragging (and sipping) rights.

GEMMA AND AMÒ

7/7

WHISKY AND WINE DINNERS

Those who enjoy Gemma Steakhouse’s quarterly whisky dinner series will want to book a table for March 9. From 6pm, the premier Italian steakhouse will host a one-night-only, five-course whisky pairing dinner with The Glenrothes, which has been producing some of Speyside’s finest single malt scotch whisky for more than a century. The 60-month, grass-fed and 30-day, dry- aged vintage bone-in striploin paired with The Glenrothes 18 year old sounds like a match made in heaven to us.

That same evening, Gemma’s sister restaurant Amò is hosting Partners in Wine: Lungarotti Wine Dinner. As a tribute to women in wine, the five- course pairing menu features award- winning wines crafted by female winemakers from Umbria's Lungarotti family winery. Highlights include the 2004 Torgiano Rubesco Riserva Vigna Monticchio paired with gambero rosso (red prawn), ricotta-stuffed zucchini blossom and sun-dried tomato bisque.
