Singapore-based fintech start-up, hexmax, has partnered with Visa to launch its latest innovation, Card Maximiser. heymax Card Maximiser is powered by Visa Offers Platform (VOP), and aims to enhance client’s loyalty and offer programmes with real time rewards earning experiences.

In other words, heymax Card Maximiser allows Visa users to check the spending and rewards on all their cards. This allows them to earn Max Miles at the same time which can be redeemed for free trips.

Hey heymax

heymax is a miles earning company that is based in Singapore, and has scaled to Australia. It was founded by four former engineers from Meta, each with over eight years of experience in the tech industry, headed by Joe Lu, the CEO.

Lu emphasised the consumer benefits provided by Card Maximiser: "Simplicity should not be at odds with High Rewards. With security and privacy fully in our user’s control, the Card Maximiser is already helping our users build a healthier and more enjoyable relationship with their cards by automatically clarifying which transactions are eligible for bonus points, and proactively tracking their monthly $1,000 bonus spending cap, all with just a one-time step.”

How it works

Consumers firstly link their credit cards to Card Maximiser, which then offers an instant view of their credit card transactions, without the need for manual entry or synchronisation. Users will then be able to see their earnings from every transaction, allowing them to track their progress towards reward goals.

After signing up, heymax claims users only need to follow three steps: browse, shop, and earn. Consumers can browse through the 300+ online stores on the heymax app and shop, and automatically earn Max Miles to their accounts.

heymax also helps users see which of their cards can be used for which purchase to maximise their rewards. Additionally, Max Miles can be transferred to heymax’s 20+ airline partners, which include Air Canada, Japan Airlines, and Qatar Airways.

Hey Visa

The partnership between heymax and Visa draws on Visa’s experience with digital payment.

Referencing Visa’s security frameworks, heymax uses advanced encryption and adheres to industry-standard security practices to ensure that users’ personal and financial information remains secure.

Adeline Kim, Visa Country Manager for Singapore & Brunei commented on the partnership: “Cardholders in Singapore hold multiple cards in their wallets and may find challenges in keeping track of what rewards they have earned.”

“Using heymax's Card Maximiser feature, they can easily link their existing Visa cards and track the rewards earned on their cards across different bank portfolios seamlessly and efficiently. Together with the Max Miles earned on the heymax platform, cardholders can look forward to better optimisation of their rewards from their spend.”
