With an entrepreneurial journey beginning in food and beverage, Abel Ang, 40, mastered the fundamentals of customer service and relationship building even before he became a luxury real estate agent.
Since joining ERA Realty Network in 2019, Ang has carved a niche in high-value residential and commercial real estate, especially in the Core Central Region. With over 550 personal transactions under his belt, he’s become known for delivering results even when the going gets tough.
Ang’s reputation as a luxury real estate agent stems from his ability to transact multi-million-dollar properties ranging from $5 million to $20 million swiftly, often within weeks. His secret? A strong database of high-net-worth buyers, a sharp instinct for positioning and unconventional marketing strategies that have helped him sell such homes above valuation.
Ang works with a steady pool of high-net-worth buyers actively seeking good class bungalows (GCBs), landed homes, large single-floor plate condominiums, penthouses, and ground-floor units with patios. Many of these clients come with individual preferences, from specific layout to feng shui alignment, and he is often able to match them with the right properties.
He recalls serving a GCB buyer whose specific requirement was for all room doors to be exactly 222cm in height. He successfully found a property that met the unusual requirement – a testament to the level of detail and personal attention he gives to every client.
In the commercial segment, Ang has also established himself as a go-to advisor for shophouses and boutique hotel acquisitions, two rare asset classes that require a deep understanding of heritage value, yield potential and regulatory nuance. “Not every agent is equipped to handle these projects as these types of commercial properties require very niche knowledge,” he says.

He brings the same sensitivity to cases that involve managing deep emotions – divorce settlements, elderly couples downsizing from family homes or estate sales. They are among his most challenging, but he knows being empathetic will go a long way in easing a difficult situation.
“I put myself in their shoes. I approach it rationally first, not with emotions, find the solution then apply it with empathy,” he says.
