Star-Lord Chris Pratt’s travel essential
Jet-setting actor can unpack his “own bedroom” from his trusty Tumi suitcase.

The popularity of the Guardians of the Galaxy and Avenger films has rocketed American actor Chris Pratt to fame as an interstellar adventurer in a bomber jacket. Just as well that the actor is a longtime user of Tumi, because the bags perfectly complement his wise-cracking onscreen character. Both are hardy, with a plethora of compartments from which to pull out the proverbial ace.
Now a global superstar, Pratt gravitates towards familiar items more than ever. In a video that places him in Hong Kong, the 40-year-old points to his suitcase as one of the things that roots him as he travels around the world. “It’s one of the constants I have in my hotel room. I pack the things that can turn any hotel room into my own bedroom and it always comes out of that same luggage.”
Says Pratt of his travel essential: “If my Tumi was a passport, it would have a lot of stamps on it.”
