In a bold move that heralds a new era of creative experimentation, Bulgari has launched the inaugural edition of Bulgari Studio in Seoul, marking the beginning of a global journey to foster innovation and cross-disciplinary collaboration. The Roman jeweller, with a history spanning 140 years, has long been celebrated for its daring aesthetic and pioneering spirit. This new initiative, which offers a platform where innovation meets tradition to reimagine the narrative of Bulgari's emblematic icons, is set to establish itself as a crucible for talent from various creative fields.
The launch event took place at the Theatre des Lumieres in the stately Walkerhill Hotel on March 14, inviting guests to immerse themselves in an experience that transcends the traditional boundaries of design, innovation, and creativity. The event showcased Bulgari's commitment to interdisciplinarity, blending the worlds of digital art, design, and fashion with its renowned craftsmanship.

Central to Bulgari Studio's debut is the B.zero1 ring, a piece that encapsulates the ethos of freedom and self-expression that Bulgari champions. Alongside B.zero1, the event also spotlighted other iconic collections such as Bulgari Bulgari and Bulgari Tubogas, showcasing the brand's ability to fuse visual finesse with extraordinary wearability.
The metropolis of Seoul naturally served as the perfect backdrop for this launch. The city's vibrancy and dynamism have for a while made it a magnet for young talents and trendsetters who naturally align with Bulgari's vision.
The digital campaign spearheading the Seoul edition, crafted by Antoni Tudisco, reimagines the B.zero1 ring with a fresh, surreal style. Tudisco's work highlights the endless possibilities of creativity, setting the stage for a series of collaborations that blur the lines between the real and the virtual.

The event also featured performances by multi-disciplinary artist and DJ Anyma and French choreographer Sadeck Berrabah, each bringing their unique perspective to the narrative of Bulgari's creations. Anyma's immersive audio-visual show and Berrabah's choreography, focused on arm and hand movements, exemplified the harmony and interconnectedness that Bulgari Studio aims to achieve.
An installation accessible to the public until March 31 also provided a tangible connection to the event, where visitors were invited to explore the convergence of sound, visuals, and creative expression centered around the B.zero1 ring.
Bulgari Studio's launch in Seoul is just the beginning. Throughout 2024, the platform will continue to engage creators worldwide, expanding its reach and influence in the creative community. This project not only reaffirms Bulgari's legacy of innovation but also sets a new standard for collaborative creativity in the luxury industry.
