Cacti, bindweed, thistles and orchids... Unusual plants have inspired Cartier jewellery for ages. The striking shapes of wildflowers and orchids have led to the creation of statement pieces such as the sculpted amethyst brooch shown here. And cacti drives the entire Cactus de Cartier collection of sculptural designs featuring vibrant gems such as emeralds, chrysoprases and carnelians.
