Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points takes you far and away with four compass-inspired colourways
The collection pairs a lightweight titanium case with four coloured dials and a practical dual-time movement built for travellers.

For a watch collection called the Overseas, a complication that tracks two time zones has always made perfect sense. With the new Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points, that connection to travel becomes even more explicit.
This new series comprises four new references, all crafted in titanium and distinguished by dial colours representing the four cardinal points of the compass.
White stands for the frozen landscapes of the North; brown evokes the continents and plains of the South; green brings to mind the forests and tropical jungles of the West; and blue looks East towards the horizon where ocean and sky meet.
The concept is more than a colour exercise. The watches follow a titanium Overseas Dual Time prototype created for photographer and explorer Cory Richards in 2019, which accompanied him during an attempt to climb a new route on the northeast face of Mount Everest.
That watch subsequently inspired the limited-edition Overseas Everest Chronograph and Dual Time models released in 2021.
A Vacheron Constantin Overseas built for travel
All four Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points models share the same 41mm case, measuring 12mm thick and made from titanium. The lightweight metal also extends to the integrated bracelet and folding clasp, while the bezel, crown, and pusher ring receive a matte anthracite grey finish. Water resistance is a substantial 150m.
The dial’s texture varies considerably. Its grained centre helps minimise reflections, surrounded by a circular satin-finished inner minutes track and lacquered outer seconds track. The applied hour markers and principal hands are made from 18K white gold and treated with blue Super-LumiNova.
Orange, meanwhile, is reserved for the arrow-tipped home-time hand and AM/PM indicator, providing an immediate visual distinction between the watch’s travel functions and conventional time display.
Local time is displayed conventionally, while an arrow-tipped orange hand indicates home time on the same 12-hour scale. The day/night indicator at 9 o’clock immediately tells the wearer whether it is AM or PM back home. The pointer date at 6 o’clock is synchronised with local time, while the crown adjusts the two time zones.
Two time zones powered by Calibre 5110 DT/3
Inside is Vacheron Constantin’s self-winding Calibre 5110 DT/3, a 234-component manufacture movement developed for travellers. Running at 4Hz, the movement provides approximately 60 hours of power reserve.
Through the sapphire crystal caseback, its dark grey NAC-treated bridges provide a suitably technical contrast to the 22K 3N yellow gold winding rotor, decorated with the compass rose that has become a signature of the Overseas collection.
Traditional finishing techniques include perlage, Cotes de Geneve, and hand-bevelled component edges, while the Poincon de Geneve hallmark is also visible through the sapphire caseback.
Another highlight is its unusual adaptability for a high-horology travel watch. Each comes with an integrated titanium bracelet equipped with the brand’s Easy-fit adjustment system, plus two interchangeable rubber straps: one in orange and another matching the colour of its respective dial, finished with orange saddle stitching. You can swap the straps without tools.
This line is available exclusively through Vacheron Constantin boutiques worldwide.
