GastroFest Shangri-La

If “gourmet” and “feast” are words you like to hear come together, then you’ve got to check out GastroFest. Debuting for one day only on 5 May, indulge in a sumptuous repast – comprised of cuisines both international and local. Partake in the revelry happening on the grounds of Shangri-La Hotel, featuring live music, art jamming, and other activities, amid the hotel’s lush greenery and the poolside.

Expect comestibles from the likes of Tono Cevicheria, offering exotic Peruvian ceviches, and Meat Smith, with no-frills big meats done right. On the local front, look forward to rich, refreshing chendol from The Coconut Club; murtabak and prata from Springleaf Prata; and nostalgic min chiang kueh from The Pantree. Spearheaded by Shangri-La’s very own Waterfall Ristorante Italiano and The Line, you can also fill your plate with fare from two of Singapore’s best buffets, such as seafood paella, foie gras and Italian cold cuts.

For drinks, sip on a bespoke gin and tonic with international boutique spirits, complemented by a unique line-up of tonics and sodas from East Imperial. Round it up with fresh aromatics from GastroFest’s very own gin garden for the perfect finish.

Younglings are also welcome, and will be gladly taken off your hands by the dedicated team at Buds by Shangri-La. A whole programme is jam-packed with movie screenings and handicraft makings to surely keep your little ones entertained – all so that you can enjoy some good food with a piece of mind. It’s the perfect deal for the whole family.
