Grant’s 8 Year Old, the newest addition to the Grant’s Scotch whisky range, took home the golden trophy for Best Blended Scotch Whisky under 21 years at the International Spirits Challenge 2014 awards. The ISC Awards 2014 was held at Honorable Artillery Company in London on July 14. This is the highest honour that can be awarded by the ISC and is only presented to one product in the category each year. With key notes of fruit, vanilla, oak and spice, Grant’s 8 Year Old is a whisky blend of 25 single grain and single malt whiskies aged for at least eight years. It is the first of Grant’s new blends to be released since 2009, and marks the launch of luxury aged blends developed specifically for Asia.
