Speakeasy bar The Library has paired up with whisky specialist La Maison du Whisky for a temporary pop-up that will run until end of this year.

Setting up shop at the entrance before The Library, La Maison du Whisky will serve as a retail point for connoisseurs who enjoy a certain drink at the bar and would like to own a bottle of the spirit. New general manager Luke Comer and his team at The Library have created three whisky-based cocktails using the featured whiskies of the month – Glendronach 15 year, Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon and Compass Box Peat Monster.

Keep your eyes peeled too for the artwork that graces the pop-up space. As part of La Maison du Whisky’s collaborations with artists to create artwork for their labels, the brand will be introducing new artists regularly. French artist Albane Simon, known for her surreal collages influenced by old movies and comic illustrations, holds court at present.

The cocktail menu will also take on a new focus from July, highlighting other spirits from La Maison du Whisky like tequilla, gin and rum.
