10 best acai spots in Singapore to satisfy your cravings
From the OG acai bowl brands to trendier newcomers, here’s the ultimate list for the acai connoisseur.
By Lu Yawen /
From becoming a health food trend in the early 2000s till today, the acai bowl craze shows no signs of slowing down, even in the face of froyo.
According to financial reports, the global acai berry market is expected to reach an estimated $1.73 billion in 2026. It is projected to continue expanding at a steady compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of seven per cent over the next decade. And in Brazil, it was designated the new national fruit under Law 15,330/2026 in early 2026 to protect and boost its international profile.
While older generations know acai bowls for their health benefits, the younger Gen Z are getting theirs customised, stacking on toppings, sauces, and even cakes. Whatever your preferences, the acai train clearly isn’t stopping anytime soon.
Project Acai
As Singapore’s trailblazing dedicated acai cafe chain, Project Acai sparked local acai cravings when it debuted in 2015, and it remains a top choice for consistently delicious bowls.
Steering clear of heavily sweetened, mass-produced sorbets, Project Acai centres its menu around authentic, organic Sambazon acai. Blended fresh in small daily batches with real frozen acai berries and banana, the base achieves a thick, delightfully frosty consistency.
It features a traditional, mildly tart profile with deep, rich undertones, deriving most of its natural sweetness from carefully curated toppings rather than added sugars.
Their iconic original bowl comes loaded with vibrant strawberries, blueberries, banana, cacao nibs, coconut flakes, goji berries, chia seeds, and sunflower seeds. For a more decadent treat, fans flock to options layered with rich nut butters like almond or peanut butter paired with crunchy cookie bits.

Its menu stands out for its focus on purity and low-glycemic bases, using 100 per cent organic, single-origin acai sourced sustainably from Cametá in Pará, Brazil. Served in its purest form, without guarana syrup, artificial sweeteners, or extra liquids, the base is lightly sweetened with organic lemons and a touch of coconut nectar.
Everything is also completely vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and halal-certified.
Its crowd-favourite “Triple A” bowl layers organic acai with dairy-free mixed berry sorbet, fresh fruits such as kiwi, dragonfruit, and pineapple, crunchy granola, and superfoods including cacao nibs, goji berries, and chia seeds.

The Summer Acai
Founded in 2021 during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic by local partners Jasmine Oh and Edwin Hoo, The Summer Acai was launched with a clear, rebellious “heartlander” mission: to make high-quality, delicious acai accessible, playful, and affordable for everyday Singaporeans.
By prioritising residential neighbourhoods and suburban hubs over central business districts, the brand rapidly scaled to (currently) 21 outlets islandwide, bringing artisanal frozen treats directly to local communities.
Its base is crafted using 100 per cent pure, organic acai pulp ethically sourced from Brazil. It’s also dairy-free, vegan-friendly, and free from refined sugars, using a splash of organic coconut nectar for a natural sweet-and-tangy balance.
Customers can customise sweetness levels to their liking (0, 50, or 100 per cent sauce ratio) and choose from generous, dessert-like combinations. Signature offerings include the crowd-favourite “Wow Graaape” bowl, loaded with fruits, superfood crunches, and rich cookie butter or nut drizzles.
Pushing boundaries as an industry innovator, it also became the first local brand to introduce dense, rich cake chunks as a premium topping.
