<b>Coravin Wine "Gun"</b><br><br>
This unlikely-looking candidate with an atypical form factor has turned out to be the product with the most glowing reviews. The ingenious device allows for wine consumption by the glass without uncorking or affecting a bottle's contents. It simply pushes a needle through the cork, pumps inert (and hence harmless) argon gas into your bottle, and extricates only the liquid when you thumb the trigger. The cork closes naturally when you withdraw the needle. So no, it won't work with screw-cap wines, but that's not what you bought the gun for, anyway. Currently available from The Oaks, Enoteca Singapore and The Vintage Club.
