Singapore-based Brass Lion Distillery ushers in the festive season through GINgle 2024

Singapore’s first full-fledged micro-distillery, Brass Lion Distillery, has launched a series of exclusive Christmas-themed activities as it presents GINgle 2024, a celebration filled with magical moments, hands-on experiences, and exclusive products designed to make this holiday season one to remember.

In addition, to add a festive spirit to their holiday decor, the distillery will release limited-edition merchandise in time for the year-end festive season, which will be available for sale at the distillery or online store.

The Festive Gin School, led by some of Brass Lion’s expert distillers, allows participants to craft their personalised gin using Christmas-inspired botanicals.

Interactive experiences with a twist

At the heart of GINgle 2024 is Brass Lion Merry Makan, a one-of-a-kind immersive gin-tasting experience that blends the spirit of Christmas with Singapore’s cultural heritage.

For instance, participants will be able to join Sam, a well-meaning yet hilariously unprepared host, as he throws his first-ever Christmas party on an interactive 90-minute journey with plenty of surprises along the way, from near mishaps to unexpected twists in holiday traditions.

They can also enjoy expertly crafted Brass Lion cocktails such as From the Vines, a tasty mix of Butterfly Pea Gin, passion fruit, and wheatgrass foam, complete with an elegant rice paper butterfly, and the Pahit Mulled Wine, where Pahit Pink Gin meets red wine, spiced with Brass Lion’s aromatic blend of spices and citrus peels.

The experience culminates in a festive spread featuring traditional and modern flavours, offering a delicious taste of the holiday season with a local twist. 

Participants can indulge in hearty delights such as Beef Meatballs and gravy with Hawthorn Berry Jam and Pork Roulade with Jasmine Rub, which promise a festive celebration that combines storytelling, gastronomy, and mixology in an intimate setting. 

In addition, participants can attend a Festive Gin School, a special edition of their popular gin-making class.

Under the guidance of Brass Lion’s expert distillers, participants will be able to choose from an array of festive recipe cards featuring seasonal blends such as Cacao Orange Gin and Holiday Spice Latte Gin, which can then further refine the recipe to match their preferred flavour profile, creating a truly unique holiday spirit.

Delightful holiday offerings

The festive season is incomplete without the delightful holiday offerings from Brass Lion Distillery’s retail arm, perfect for adding a decadent element to Christmas celebrations. 

For instance, Brass Lion Gin Baubles offer a unique, gin-filled twist. These beautifully crafted baubles are filled with Brass Lion Singapore Dry Gin, Butterfly Pea Gin, or Pahit Pink Gin.

In addition, it also functions as both a decorative and decadent element in Christmas celebrations. Designed to hang on the Christmas tree, the baubles are ideal for gifting or as a festive party favour.

Brass Lion Gin Baubles are available between $25 – $26 for each bauble at their distillery or online store.

Brass Lion Distillery’s Merry Makan: An Interactive Tasting Journey will take place every Friday and Saturday evening from 29 November to 21 December 2024. Ticket prices are $148, and early bird prices are $128 on their website.

On the other hand, Brass Lion Distillery’s Festive Gin School: Craft Your Own Holiday Spirit will take place every Saturday and Sunday in December, and ticket prices start at $220.

In addition, participants of the Festive Gin School will be entitled to a complimentary welcome cocktail, a gin distilling lesson, and a personal bottle of gin.
