[Video] Game of Thrones Single Malts collection: taste whisky inspired by the Seven Kingdoms

All men must die...and also drink. And some those drinks are whisky. Preferably a delicious, complex single malt sings to you the place it was made it. A good time a sip a dram would also be during the final season of Game of Thrones.

Diageo has clearly recognised the potential here, and has released a limited-edition Game of Thrones-inspired collection of eight single malt Scotch whiskies, each paired to a different house of Westeros as well as the Night's Watch.

To mirror their houses, each of the eight expressions comes from a different distillery, where the whisky's flavour or area of production mirrors the characteristics of the house. For House Tully, rulers of the Riverlands, there's The Singleton Glendullan Select, a whisky made on the banks of the River Fiddich in the wooded hills of Dufftown; while the rugged, seafaring House Greyjoy is matched up with the peaty, saline Talisker Select Reserve, made on the shores of the Isle of Skye.

The Game of Thrones Single Malt Scotch Whisky Collection is only available as a set from 1855 The Bottle Shop stores or online at Asher BWS in Singapore.
