Not just the awards: How this top-performing realtor’s proudest achievement is mentoring others
ERA Hall of Fame and award-winning real estate agent Eric Goh derives satisfaction when the agents he coaches carry out their duties with responsibility and commitment

Watching a Hong Kong television drama about property development planted dreams of becoming a property developer in a young Eric Goh. He later pursued civil engineering in hopes of bringing his entrepreneurial ambitions to life.
When the construction sector faced challenges after his graduation in 2001, real estate became his pathway into the property world – and a first step to chart his own course as an entrepreneur.
Now, more than 20 years later, Goh, who is a Senior Division Director at ERA, has achieved the successes that his younger self had dreamed of, by developing a philosophy to help clients buy with vision – identifying emerging areas and developments before they become obvious to the market.
His accomplishments have earned the 49-year-old recognition in ERA’s Top 10 nine times and Top 50 eight times, ultimately leading to a Hall of Fame induction as one of only six agents to achieve this distinction.
But personal glory was never his goal. “The achievement I’m proudest of is not a trophy or a title. It’s seeing the growth of others I have mentored,” he explains. Watching his 26 associates achieve goals they once thought impossible – like he once did – reminded him why he started leading in the first place.
While success in the real estate industry is often defined by the number of transactions, Goh’s mentorship style emphasises the intangible – the responsibility that every real estate professional must uphold when carrying out their duties, and a commitment to client service and market vision.
He believes that teaching new agents to focus on what’s best for clients leads to better results. For Goh, teaching them to think beyond transactions has become a priority.
“Property is often the biggest investment a person will make in their life. I take that seriously, and I expect the same from the associates I mentor,” he says.
Even after decades in the industry, Goh still feels the same passion that had first drawn him to the industry – and is what he hopes to inspire in everyone that he mentors.
“Real estate has always felt magical to me. Every property has its own story, and I find joy in discovering what makes a property special and helping clients see their potential. It’s not just about selling – it’s about creating possibilities.”
